Last Night at the House

Well, our travelling is all starting to become very real. Jason just got back from visiting with family in Montana and Jaime had a chance to visit BT, Mindy and the little ones back in North Carolina. Tonight is our last night at 13104 Falcon Point Place. We are almost all done with moving our furniture and belongings into storage. We will miss our home during our travels, but it is in safe hands (hopefully) with Dennis and the rest of the crew renting it. We already miss Chewie, but hear that she is adjusting well with Char and the gang back in Montana.

Ode to Chewbacca

Friday morning I head to Montana to drop our dog, the Mighty Chewbacca, off to stay with my brother Charlie and his family for a year. Jaime has been shedding a few tears and I know will shed more for Chewie over the next two nights. I know I'll be sad when I leave Char's house and head back home. Chewie is an amazing dog and Jaime and I have come to love her like a daughter (I know I know...she's only a dog).

I was never an animal person growing up, but Chewie has changed my attitude about dogs. She is extremely loyal, always playful, and has the sweetest disposition. She is not the smartest dog in the world, but she has her moments. We will miss her a ton over the next year.
